ABOUT US
Branch 15, located in Brampton Ontario at 80 Mary Street. The Legion is available for hall or room rental for community events and you are not required to be a member in order to rent our facilities.
Branch 15 is part of the Royal Canadian Legion and we serve Canada’s Honoured Veterans. We are a non-profit organization and our purpose is to serve Veterans and their families in our region.
We actively participate in community events such as Remembrance Parades, Youth and Education contests to school-aged children and we donate to various organizations such as our local hospitals.
The Ladies Auxiliary (LA) is comprised of mothers, wives, granddaughters, and widows of Legion members. They help support our branch in many ways. They have donated funds raised from their home-made dinners and pies to help support our branch and our initiatives. Keep an eye out on our homepage to know of upcoming dinners made by the LA, you wont be disappointed!
Branch 15 is named after Major William Dwight Sharpe, a former Medical Officer with the British Admiralty served with the 234th Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force during World War One. The 234th Bn CEF is perpetuated by the Lorne Scots (Peel Dufferin & Halton Regiment), an active Canadian Army Reserve Regiment headquartered just around the block from the Branch.
