What Have The LA Ladies Been Up To…..?

Every January, the Ladies’ Auxiliary have a dinner get together to celebrate their friendships and their accomplishments.
Take-Out Dinners
We provide take-out dinners to approximately 100 people the last Friday of the month. Three times a year, we have our meat pie sale. Our pies are excellent, very reasonably priced, and we have a very tough time keeping our orders to 300. So far, we haven’t been too successful and have even reached 500. We are trying harder to maintain our limit to save the sanity of our team.
Veterans Dinner (early November – annually)
Each year the Ladies’ Auxiliary help with the Veterans Dinner which is typically held early November. This year we had over 90 people in attendance and we were
Christmas Bazaar
We had a very successful Christmas Bazaar which was held on Saturday December 7th. Thank you to all those that came out and supported us with purchases, donations or just by showing up!
St. Jacob’s Market Trip
In August 2024, our ladies enjoyed a trip to St. Jacob’s Market and had a great lunch at Anna Mae’s restaurant nearby. On October 1st, we are getting together again to enjoy lunch at the Mandarin Restaurant. We always have a great time – lots of laughter and stories. These fun days are a nice break between our busy times.
Assisting Veterans
We have assisted several Veteran families with back-to-school costs for their children. We will again be assisting them at Christmas. We believe it is so important to support our younger Veterans as they struggle with PTSD and injuries sustained through their service to our country. We thank them for their service.
We are also collecting donation items for our veterans. See post below for some ideas. All donations are due December 18th.
