Come Join the Ladies’ Auxiliary

Have you recently retired and find yourself with a lot of free time you’ve never had before?

Or are you simply looking to become involved in a worthwhile organization that appeals to your needs and interests?

Well, if you are looking for a way to do something meaningful AND have fun in the process, consider joining the Ladies’ Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15.

We raise funds to support our War Veterans, our young Veterans and their families who need our help. We assist our Branch so they can continue supporting our Veterans. We also contribute to our community through financial and other donations to The Knight’s Table, the Youth Shelter and the Women’s Shelter.

All this is accomplished through our catering efforts. We have fun doing this while we enjoy each other’s company. The satisfaction of knowing we’re helping so many people is our reward.

WHAT ELSE? It isn’t all fundraising. Our Ladies’ Auxiliary has a sports program that you can join if you want to play or learn how to play darts, euchre or cribbage. Outside of the sports program, we ladies get together socially for lunch, attend the dinner theatre in Caledon and we organize other special events suggested by the membership.

From September to June, we meet the first Monday of the month from, 7:00pm to approximately 9:30pm, at our Legion at 80 Mary Street in Brampton.

If this is something that appeals to you and you would like to receive more information, please call our Legion at 905-451-9565 Ext. 5 and I will get back to you within a couple of days. We are really looking forward to hearing from you.
